Vodafone’s coming to town, they’re gonna get Hutch
BBC claims that Vodafone wants to buy a controlling stake in Hutchison Essar. Vodafone already owns 10% of Bharti Airtel. Is this good news? Frankly, I couldn’t give a damn, unless this means Hutch’s service miraculously gets much better. I’ve already spoken about why I won’t use Hutch or it’s puppy Aircel.
On the bright side, all those fellows with the English Premier League t-shirts will finally find out just what those words on them mean. Yeah, now you know that that footballers name isn’t O2 because that would mean that this guy is named after your phone company.

The reason you don’t use Aircel is because a certain someone you like has Airtel and so you need it too, for cheaper call rates.

Funny how each company has a stake in its competitor.

And more funny is Reliance getting into the fray. They just want to get bigger and bigger and nothing else. I wonder if they want other things to get bigger as well.

Indeed, if it comes down to me paying less every month I’ll be happy and grab it with both hands.
