Radiohead – Pay as much as you want.

In Rainbows can be downloaded off their site for just as much as you’re willing to pay. There you go, you’ve complained for ages about how things are too expensive for you to pay for. You’ve rationalised your piracy by claiming that art should be able to reach even those who can’t “afford” it. You’ve spoken at length on how you’d pay for an album if it were a 100 rupees. Well, go on then. If you like Radiohead, put your money where your mouth is. Show them how much you think their music is worth.

Of course, if you’re one of those cheapskates who can’t put $2 in, don’t download the album. No need to waste their bandwidth.

  1. Not everyone is a rich bastard like you. Some people are forced to pirate things.

I don’t like Radiohead. And even if someone did and downloaded their music for free, I don’t think they’d mind too much.

  2. The other people who paid would though. If you’re going to take it free why waste their bandwidth. That site was going slow when the Slashdot effect hit it. Everyone downloading stuff on release date would be hell.

By the way, I gave you enough money to buy that LBG album and you didn’t buy it. So don’t even try to bring money into this.

  3. Who cares what other people think? They felt like paying, so let them.

I didn’t buy it simply because I couldn’t find out where to. I am not going to their house!
